'FULL MOON IN LEO'

Please join us for evening of Active Breathwork and Sound Healing for the Snow Moon on Feb 12th. The Full Moon in Leo is a time to let our light shine, it’s a time to move forth into our self expression and creativity as we start to edge closer to Spring. But as we are still in Winter, it is a time for purification and introspection to release,  doubt, fears and judgements, letting the moon’s radiant energy find its way in.

Anastasia will go over the cosmic energy we’re experiencing, followed by some journaling and light meditation. We will then go into 3 rounds of 3-part Active Breathwork. This Breathwork is an active meditation technique that uses the breath to purge the body and the nervous system of stuck energy, and the emotional debris that prevents us from being in highest alignment to our purpose and joy. If you’re used to more of the slower Breathwork, this is a bit of a departure into a more active intense method that can be extremely cathartic and purge deeply stored emotions. Breathwork bypasses the intellectual mind, the stress, and the overwhelm which allows the body to maximize healing and transformation so we can find a home in the body and find emotional freedom once again.

After the Breathwork, Kelly from The Sound Sorcery will ease you into passive restorative meditation with a gentle Sound Immersion experience intended to re-tune the body in an effortless way. Guests lay down* and close their eyes before enjoying sonic guidance into a deep soundscape of relaxation with of a fleet of specialized instruments including reiki-infused chalices and chimes, singing bowls, ocean drum, and harp. Kelly’s nurturing approach to sound healing soothes the listener with continuous waves of purifying sound, delivering frequencies specifically tuned to resonate with the human body. Many are played in-motion, alternating between gentle enveloping ambiance and personal sound reiki sent deep into the body channels, opening blockages, and allowing your mind to rest. The somatic impact of sound on the body is undeniable, with lasting effects that also improve emotional wellness and cognition.

Since the Breathwork can bring up a lot of deeply stored energy we will allow space for integration and possibly some more light journaling and then we will close for the evening. 

*Please bring a journal and pen, dress in layers, and bring anything you need to lay comfortably on the floor for an hour like a thermos of water, blanket, camping mat (lightweight and provides more cushion than a yoga mat), pillow & bolster.
